if a return, when would they announce it?, Winterfest

I was just wondering, if Winterfest does return for 2005 when do you think PKI will make the annoucement? I for one feel that they could possibly wait until the end of summer to make an annoucement to boost 2006 season pass sales.

I don't think it will happen but if they did sometime before or dering fearfest is when they would announce it.

I keep seeing posts on winterfest. Did KI even say that they were thinking about bringing it back or is it just something that someone started around? You have to remember, winterfest went out when paramount bought the park. I doubt they would bring it back, otherwise, why would they have gotten ride of it? True, I do miss and wish they would bring it back, but doubt it.

Well seeing how they are opening a big new ride this year and all I wouldn't make sense to promote the next thing until that one already has opened and had some time to set in. I'd say if they do it, look for early July, cause what would be better than a Christmas in July announcement for an event that happens around "Christmas time" (Yes, I know its "Winter" related, not just Christmas.)

Yes it is a rumor, thus the IF in the subject line. But higher ups from PKI have hinted at it, and it has been asked on a survey or two.

Although it is still a rumor, it has been hinted at a lot. I imagine a mid summer, probably August press release. They may announce it at the same time that they announce the new attraction. This is of course assuming that Winterfest is coming back and that there will be a new attraction next year....
